The Paleo diet is the healthiest way you can eat because it is the ONLY nutritional approach that works with your genetics to help you stay lean, strong and energetic! Research in biology, biochemistry, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and many other disciplines indicate it is our modern diet, full of refined foods, trans fats and sugar, that is at the root of degenerative diseases such as obesity, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, depression and infertility. – Robb Wolf
Millions of people across the nation are in a constant search of that pill, diet, or a cleanse, that will help them quickly shed the everlasting 10-20 extra Lbs they have accumulated over the years. The latest hyped up diet is the Paleo Diet, which emphasizes the basics by getting back to the eating of our long-gone ancestors.
Paleolithic diet stresses that genetically, we are not made to eat the foods that came after the Neolithic period, when the animals were domesticated and agriculture was introduced. It thus shows, that the foods that came along with time, not only made us fat, but also developed serious health problems through inflammatory responses in our bodies. The diet asks to cut additives such as sugar, salt, grains, legumes, alcohol, coffee and dairy products out of your diet. Replicating the hunter/gatherer approach, it focuses on grass-fed meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, fruits, and nuts.
Sometimes called the Caveman Diet, the Paleo diet claims to eliminate inflammation caused by sugars and processed foods, thus helping to reduce or even eliminate the risk of cancer and other diseases, clear up acne, and even slow down the process of auto-imune disease. The Paleo diet gives many people today an easy and efficient way to stay fit, healthy, and desease-free. With no need to count calories, this diet allows us to simply eliminate the foods that are at odds with our bodies, and increase the intake of of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants found in high quality lean meats, fruits and vegetables.
Eating paleo can be easy if you are prepared. Before going out for the day, try to get snaks ready in advance, as that will help you stay on track and not be effected by a suddnen momment of hunger! Hard boil some eggs, pre-bag some vegetables, nuts, and fruit.
