Plastic surgeons now have a new way to communicate with patients with social media and email.

ECHO Beta by Eyemaginations allows doctors to pre-consult with patients. Using the software, plastic surgeons can send pre-operative instructions, patient forms and before-and-after photos and videos to new patients.

By sending videos on procedures to the patient, the physician’s office can save time by handling many of the patient’s questions before the office visit. The software can also be used to remind patients of follow-up visits and retain patients by conveying new information with videos and animation.

Patients can interact with the software and videos and even share the content with friends and family.

“By using ECHO, facial plastic surgeons can now deliver patients a message that includes targeted selections from our comprehensive library of facial aesthetics and plastic surgery videos,” says Jeff Peres, president and CEO of Eyemaginations.

Doctors can also benefit by using the ECHO Beta system to generate referrals and distribute promotions for the practice.
